Nominations are now open for the esteemed CIO50 Australia Awards, set to take place in 2024. This year marks the ninth edition, with the ceremony scheduled to be held alongside the CSO30 Awards on October 17th at Sydney’s Shangri-La Hotel.

These awards, a prominent initiative by CIO Australia, are designed for senior technology and digital executives who wield significant influence over their organization’s ICT vision and strategic direction. Candidates can either nominate themselves or be nominated by others for this notable recognition.

Submissions for nominations can be completed online or by downloading the provided Word documents and submitting the form accordingly. In addition to the renowned CIO50 List, this year will feature the presentation of the Next CIO Award, dedicated to honoring emerging leaders in the ICT field destined for CIO roles.

Moreover, during the event, four Team of the Year awards will be conferred to commend outstanding IT teams in various realms. These accolades include recognition in categories such as Culture, Customer Value, Sustainability, and Talent for teams demonstrating excellence in fostering innovation, delivering customer value, promoting sustainability practices within their organization,and excelling in talent acquisition and retention.

Another highlight of this year’s ceremony will be the induction of a senior IT leader into the prestigious CIO50 Hall of Fame—a distinguished honor recognizing individuals with a longstanding commitment to digital innovation and exemplary executive leadership. This year’s event will mark the third induction into this illustrious group.

Technology professionals are encouraged to submit their applications before August 1, 2024,to showcase their contributions and accomplishments within their organizations and across the industry. The CIO50 Australia Awards stand as a testament to recognizing exceptional talent and fostering innovation within the ICT sector.
