Microsoft Launches Copilot Studio: Empowering Users To Create Custom Ai Assistants For Productivity Enhancements

Microsoft has announced the launch of its new Copilot Studio platform, which allows Microsoft 365 customers to create their own AI “copilot” assistants. The platform was unveiled at the company’s Ignite developer conference on November 15th and is part of Microsoft’s efforts to expand its artificial intelligence offerings.

With Copilot Studio, users can quickly build, test, and publish standalone copilots and custom GPTs (Generative Pre-trained Transformers). It offers a complete end-to-end lifecycle for customizations within a single web experience. Similar to OpenAI’s GPT Store, Copilot Studio serves as a central development hub for Microsoft 365 users.
